I live in a beautiful place nestled in the interior of British Columbia, Canada, called the Kootenays where I am surrounded by mountains and rivers. After wanting to play with clay for years, I finally began my journey into the world of pottery connecting myself with thousands of years of individuals working with earth.
All my pots are made from the finest clay. I also make all my own stains and glazes so I can maintain the quality is consistent. This also ensures all my glazes are food safe, microwave and oven safe, and dishwasher safe. My plates and bowls can be purely decorative; however, they are all also completely functional too.
Fundamentally, I thrive on finding beauty in the mundane and obscure – this is particularly true for various aspects of nature. Many of my images are well over 500 years old. I love every pot I create and I hope you will too.
